Key Points to Demonstrate
1History: previous anaesthetics, allergies, medications, PMHx, functional status
2Airway: Mallampati, mouth opening, thyromental distance, neck movement, teeth
3ASA: I (healthy), II (mild systemic disease), III (severe), IV (life-threatening), V (moribund)
4Fasting: 6 hours solids, 2 hours clear fluids
5Medications: continue most, hold ACEi/ARB, manage anticoagulation, diabetic meds
6Investigations: based on patient and surgery, not routine
