Key Facts
BLS follows DRSABCD: Danger, Response, Send for help, Airway, Breathing, CPR, Defibrillation.
Adult CPR targets 100–120/min and depth >5 cm (~⅓ chest depth) with full recoil and minimal interruptions.
Compression:ventilation ratio is 30:2 (adult, single rescuer).
Apply an AED as soon as available and resume CPR immediately after shocks/analysis.
